Carina Jern, ceramist from Gothenburg Sweden, graduated 2002 after two years of studies at the Angereds ateljen art school. Carina then founded her own workshop in 2008 and started to make vases for Ikebana in 2013. 2017 she went to Tokoname in Japan for personal training in the art of ikebana and bonsai pottery as a student of master and bonsai potter Hidemi “Shuho” Kataoka. Carina has continued to make unique handmade high quality containers for Ikebana, Bonsai, Kokedama, Kusamono and Shitakusa. Each piece is made with great love and care.
